At 8:00 PM tonight, The Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation regarding the coronavirus pandemic. The PM started his speech by saying – I have once again come to talk to you about the Coronavirus Pandemic. The PM previously came live on Thursday night and appealed for Janta Curfew, which was a great success. But, on Monday many people were found on roads and shopping around. Seeing the situation, and to control the spread of novel coronavirus, PM has announced a complete lockdown in the country for 21 days from today’s midnight.
He followed it by urging the citizens to forget what stepping out from home feels like and warned the citizens by saying that these 21 days are very crucial for the country and if we step out of our houses the entire country and our family will setback by 21 years.
Financial package of ₹15,000 crores allotted for healthcare. PM announced this by saying -Now the central government has allocated ₹15,000 crores for strengthening the nation’s health infrastructure for treatment of coronavirus patients. Along with this training of medical and paramedical manpower will also be done.
PM explained the condition by saying- You are also seeing the most empowered nations have become helpless in the face of this pandemic. It’s not that these nations are not making efforts or lack resources, but the coronavirus is spreading so rapidly, that despite all their efforts the challenge is increasing. The result of a two-month study of these countries, and what the experts are saying is that the social distancing is the only option to combat corona that is to remain apart from each other and stay confined to your homes. There is no other way to remain safe from the corona.
PM further added that the nation is going to take a very important decision from midnight today, The Entire Country Will Go Under A Complete Lockdown to save India and every Indian, There will be a total ban on venturing out of your houses. And requested the citizens to be wherever they are in this country.
Saying more about the coronavirus spread he said that your friends, relatives or neighbors who you meet daily can be potential carriers of coronavirus hence it’s important to stay home and be safe.
