We are able to do this because we have strong in house team of 200 people spread across 12 cities. The senior management consists of people who have held leadership roles with banks/NBFC’s like Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Bajaj Finserve, GE Money etc. It is entirely due to the efforts of our loyal employees (attrition of less than 5% over the last 4 years) that we are currently disbursing more than 1,000 cr annually within a short company lifespan of 4 years

Vivek co-founded Finance Buddha in 2012 after having more than a decade entrepreneurial experience in financial services, telecom and manufacturing. In 2012 he discontinued other ventures to focus on financial services. He currently manages the unsecured business. He is responsible for transforming Finance Buddha from a single location 10 member team to a pan India organisation with 16 offices in 12 cities, 200 employees (and growing!!) and a leadership position amongst its peers.
After spending 8 years at Citibank he co-founded Finance Buddha in 2012 along with Vivek. At Citibank, he had set up the most profitable retail asset franchise within the bank, accounting for over 45% of the country's volumes in personal loans. In his last role as the Vice President, he was managing retail assets at the regional level, having 75 bankers and over 500 outsourced sales staff under his management. At Finance Buddha he manages mortgage business and is responsible for overall marketing initiatives.
Parag has 10 years experience in investment management roles in India and South East Asian countries. Before joining Finance Buddha in 2013 he was Vice President – Investments at Masan Group in Vietnam. Masan is the largest private sector conglomerate in Vietnam with a market cap in excess of USD 3.5 billion and having interests across FMCG, Banking, Mining etc. Prior to Masan, Parag was at Avigo Capital, New Delhi where he spent 7 years and was part of the startup team. At Finance Buddha, he manages new business initiatives and finance functions.
Business Head – Unsecured Business Loans
Sunitha has 17 years of retail asset sales experience in personal loans, business loans and credit cards with companies like Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank. In her last role she was the Regional Manager Business loans for Bajaj where she was part of the team which setup the entire vertical and scaled it to a portfolio of 150 crore. At Finance Buddha she is responsible for the company’s entry into unsecured business loan and within a short period of time has scaled it to a monthly business volume of 15 crore.
Business Head - Mortgages
Vikram has 16 years of experience with companies like GE Money, HDFC and Cholamandalam. Vikram was instrumental in setting up the consumer business for GE Money in early 2000 post which he was the RSM at Chola DBS to set up the Secured and Unsecured Loans business. At Finance Buddha, he setup the mortgages division and has scaled it up to a 25 crore business.
